About Reborn

What does "Reborn" mean?

A Reborn system is a previously-owned Andromeda PC that has been returned, fully inspected, and refurbished by our in-house technicians. Every unit is bench-tested under load, has its components verified, and is repackaged to the same standard as a new build.

Is the warranty the same as a new system?

Yes — Reborn systems carry the same Andromeda Guarantee and warranty coverage as a new build. If anything goes wrong, you are covered exactly the same way.

How is Reborn different from open-box?

Open-box typically means a unit that was opened but never used. Reborn goes further — every system is tested under load, drives wiped and re-imaged, BIOS updated, and any component that doesn't pass spec is replaced before it goes back on sale.

Why is each unit usually limited to one?

Reborn inventory is one-of-one — a single physical unit, with its own price and condition. When it sells, it is gone. New units appear here as our techs finish refurbishing them.

How fast does a Reborn unit ship?

Reborn units ship within 1 business day of order. There is no build queue — the system is already assembled, tested, and boxed.

Could my unit have cosmetic marks?

Possibly. Some Reborn systems carry light scratches or surface marks from their first life. It's purely cosmetic and never affects performance or your warranty. That's part of what makes them Reborn, and part of why they're priced to move.
